Samsung Galaxy S4 might be unveiled on March 14 in New York

We might be nearing the launch of Samsung’s next flagship smartphone- the Galaxy S4 as according to multiple online reports, the South Korean smartphone-maker plans to launch the Galaxy S4 on March 14 at an event in New York.
The date came into light after , mobile-review’s Eldar Murtazin tweeted that March 14 will see a big announcement, and added that HTC will lose out on the sales of the upcoming HTC One due to that. Eldar Murtazin also revealed the location for the event and said that it would take place New York. Though he didn’t explicitly mentioned the Samsung Galaxy S4.This claim was later backed by the “more-trusted” SamMobile, which has been quite accurate in the past as far as Samsung leaks are concerned. In it’s report, the website stated that the Samsung Galaxy S4 is indeed coming on March 14.
Only if that wasn’t trust worthy enough, now, The Verge has also confirmed that announcement will definitely be made on March 14 in New York, and citing sources familiar with Samsung’s plans, it stated that Samsung could unveil one or more new devices at the event. It is being said that unlike the Samsung Galaxy s3, the design for the Galaxy S4 is a “tightly-guarded secret”. But just like the S3, the company has focused more o0 features rather than raw specifications.
As far as the rumored specifications go, the Samsung Galaxy S4 is expected to feature a 4.99-inch Super AMOLED Full HD display and powered by the recently announced, Exynos 5 Octa (8-Core) CPU paired with 2GB of RAM and Mali-T678 GPU. The device is also expected to house a 13 Megapixel primary camera, capable of recording videos in Full HD and a 2 Megapixel front facing camera. Importantly, it is expected that the smartphone would run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean straight out-of-the box.
